Award-Winning Youth Program
Olde Towne Hall Theatre is proud to host an award-winning and one of the most renowned youth groups in the Northeast Ohio area.
We have two shows a year for all children (ages 8-18) to audition for and then our special JTF team (invitation only) presents a special showing every year before they go to an international theatre competition in Atlanta, Georgia. Better known as the Junior Theatre Festival.
The Junior Theatre Festival is a huge international competition having thousands of theatre-loving students and kids from all over the world congregating in Atlanta to present their talents to a panel of judges. Those judges normally being broadway legends like Pasek & Paul and the original cast of Mean Girls. There they take part in workshops led by broadway legends and see special performances by other broadway legends (Megan Hilty, Darren Criss, Cynthia Erivo).
Junior Theatre Festival 2025
This year OTHT's youth group performed Shrek: The Musical Jr. at JTF '25
This was a big year for Olde Town Hall Theatre and our wonderful kids. The group won 'Excellence in Dance', Larissa Freas won the award for Outstanding Student Choreographer and we were represented onstage by Grant Trefz & Veronica Scialabba who were our All-Stars.
